Medical disclaimer

This site is editorial guidance, not medical advice. Read this before using any of our recommendations to make a treatment decision.

Everything on this site is editorial guidance. None of it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation for your specific case.

What that means in practice

  • We are not your doctor. The content on this site is produced by editorial staff with cosmetic-surgery research experience. None of that experience constitutes a medical license, a clinical relationship with you, or qualification to offer diagnosis or treatment. Procedure descriptions, recovery timelines, and clinic information are compiled from public sources, surgeon interviews, and reader reports; they are summaries, not clinical assessments.
  • Your individual case may differ in material ways. Personal anatomy, medical history, current medications, psychological readiness, and aesthetic goals all affect which procedures are appropriate for you. A pre-surgery in-person consultation with a qualified, licensed surgeon is required; nothing on this site is a substitute for it, and we do not recommend any reader make a treatment decision based on this site alone.
  • Tier ratings are editorial assessments, not safety guarantees. A gold-tier rating reflects our editorial assessment of a clinic's surgeon credentials, infrastructure, revision policy, and patient-reported outcomes, at the time of the most recent audit. It does not guarantee any specific surgical outcome, does not rule out complications, and does not transfer to you any warranty or recourse against the clinic or against this site.
  • Pricing is indicative. Prices shown are 2026 ranges drawn from our gold and silver tier sample. Your clinic's actual quote may differ for reasons specific to your case. We are not party to your transaction, do not handle bookings, and do not mediate disputes over fees.
  • No liability is assumed. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for any decision made in reliance on this site. Your use of this content is at your own risk; if you are in doubt about anything you read here, defer to a licensed surgeon.

When to seek immediate medical attention

If you have a complication after a procedure, fever above 38.5°C/101°F lasting more than 24 hours, severe pain unresponsive to prescribed medication, spreading redness or pus at any incision site, difficulty breathing, or chest pain, go to the nearest emergency department first, then contact the operating clinic. Don't wait for a return call.

Editorial independence

We do not accept payment from clinics in exchange for placement, higher tier ratings, or favorable reviews. Our revenue comes from advertising on our parent site gangnambeautyguide.com that is clearly labeled and segregated from editorial. If you ever see a sponsored placement misrepresented as an editorial recommendation on this site, please report it via the contact form.
